The Laundry and Dry Cleaning Workers Local 52 Health and Welfare Trust Fund is a non-profit Trust Fund subject to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). The Laundry and Dry Cleaning Workers Local 52 Health and Welfare Trust Fund Plan of Benefits has been established in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreements between WORKERS UNITED and Contributing Employers. Benefits are provided to Active Employees who are working for Contributing Employers who signed a Collective Bargaining Agreement that requires contributions to the Laundry and Dry Cleaning Workers Local 52 Health and Welfare Trust Fund. The Board of Trustees, which consists of both Local Union 52 representatives and Employer representatives are solely responsible for administering the Fund. The Eligibility rules and benefits provided by the Fund are subject to amendment by the Board of Trustees. You are encouraged to read and become familiar with the Summary Plan Description (SPD) which describes the benefits available and the various rules under the Fund.
